Currently funds are required to support researchers conducting studies in order to discover new genes associated with diseases of ageing and also to expand on current findings, taking them through to the next level of scientific discovery. Vital medical and analytical equipment is also needed to maximise the research output of the talented scientists currently being funded by the CDRF.
